Morgan Stanley shuts down Long Island advisor group. The parties stipulated to a temporary restraining order until resolution by a FINRA arbitration panel. Morgan Stanley alleged that the group took confidential customer information (client profiles) and used that information to solicit business prior to their resignation from the firm.
